It was like I was in a setting where I worked with people or we were in school but already adults. I had gotten there late and missed one of the periods. Then I told one of the ladies look let’s go smoke a cigarettes and she smokes with me but says we’re going to get in trouble, and I said no we’re not. Then some muscular guy dressed in a suit comes and I thought, oh this is like a mafia thing, and tries swinging at me, I was not good at self defense, I evaded all his swings. I started running and saw a building that was part of the school, I grabbed onto a part of the building to lift myself up, I was hanging on there and thought I don’t know how I’m going to do this, I barely have upper body strength. I ended up being able to lift myself up before the man could get me.
Your dream weaves together several elements that could reflect feelings, experiences, or desires from your waking life. Let's break it down:
School or Work Setting: The setting where you find yourself in a mix of school and work, with adults around, can be indicative of current responsibilities or learning curves in your professional or personal life. Being late and missing one of the periods suggests feelings of being behind or missing out on certain opportunities or experiences.
Smoking with a Colleague: Cigarettes in dreams can symbolize relaxation, addiction, or even rebellion. Inviting a colleague to smoke with you and worrying about getting into trouble might highlight your willingness to take risks or break away from social or professional norms. However, the worry about getting in trouble indicates an awareness or fear of potential consequences of certain actions.
Encounter with the Muscular Man: The appearance of the muscular guy in a suit, whom you associate with a mafia-like figure, might represent intimidating figures or authoritative pressures you feel in real life. His act of aggression and your evasion might symbolize a fear of confrontation or conflict and your ability to escape or avoid trouble.
Running and Escape: The act of running away and seeking refuge by climbing a building indicates a desire to overcome challenges or escape tense situations in your life. The thoughts of inadequacy regarding your upper body strength relate to feelings of self-doubt, but ultimately, you are able to overcome these doubts to evade danger.
Inner Strength and Resolution: Successfully lifting yourself up signifies personal strength and resilience. Despite initially doubting your abilities, you manage to find the strength within yourself to resolve a challenging situation.
Overall, the dream points to a situation in your life where you may feel you're not fully prepared or might be apprehensive about facing some formidable challenges or confrontations. It's a journey of recognizing your limitations, working through them, and realizing your strength and resilience when pushed to your limits. This dream could be encouraging you to confront your fears and trust in your ability to rise above trials, even when you doubt yourself.
